Floor 8 for le Fontainebleau

Miami sunshine on 5th avenue

Last weekend I visited the Bergdorf Goodman x The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Immersive Pop-Up Experience with the best date of all, my mom. I had to share because, though small, this experience was a concentrated representation of what I strive for in my own party affairs. Plus…THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL!

The journey began with an elevator ride, complete with a charming, vintage styled operator in all his 1960’s charm. Let out on the 8th floor, we were welcomed by two beautiful ladies in head-to-toe vintage. Not only had we time traveled 59 years in 8 floors, we found ourselves no longer on Manhattan’s 5th Avenue, but in the hotel lobby of the Fountainbleu—a glamorous Miami hotel where many scenes from the upcoming season of the show were filmed this past summer.

Just as the photographer offered to take our polaroid in the “lobby lounge,” another attendant came around the corner with glasses of champagne and macarons. The treats and photo-ops with Midge’s wardrobe nearly left the live pianist in the corner unnoticed. Like the success of our favorite trailblazing comedienne, to entertain and distract in an area the size of my New York living room is a feat worth applause!

This mini Maisel event proves once again that it’s not the size of the event that matters, it’s the quality of the detail. Thank you Maisel TV and Bergdorf Goodman for this perfect teaser for the Season 3 release on December 6!

They looked *marvelous,* wouldn’t you agree?!!)

Unfortunately, the event is sold out through the end of it’s run on Saturday, November 2nd, but I hope you’ll check out the never-disappointing windows on 5th Avenue while they’re here! And we all of course have the third season’s release date of December 6th to look forward to! I know I do!
