Grand Budapest Hotelle
It’s A Lobby Girl
Every Halloween I run down the list of Wes Anderson characters for costume inspiration:
Margot Tenenbaum (overdone*, has no bangs, please don’t make me reveal my forehead this holiday)
Moonrise Kingdom’s Suzy (Darla is too big to fit in that wicker basket bag and dragging Samsonite around Manhattan is not an option)
Life Aquatic’s Jane (must save for day when I’m actually pregnant) and so on…
So, on this particular Halloween I took matters into my own hands and flipped The Grand Budapest Hotel’s Lobby Boy to a Girl!
I sewed the heavy card stock frame into the orange wool and adorned the front with iron-on letters, hand painted in pink. To honor the discretion of the “Society of the Crossed Keys” I concealed a surprise detail inside, shh!
Do you have a costume party or event that requires a little something special? Message me here to talk about how Futur Parfait can take your statement outside the box!
